NetCents Technology signs referral pact with SoftPoint

Online payment processing platform NetCents Technology has entered into a long-term mutual referral agreement with hospitality management system SoftPoint.

The agreement integrates NetCents into SoftPoint's ecosystem, enabling thousands of merchant locations to accept cryptocurrency along with credit and gift cards as additional payment methods, according to a press release.

SoftPoint technology also integrates with many international POS systems, including Micros, NCR, Clover, Squirrel, and Dinnerware.

"SoftPoint constantly strives to be a market-leader, developing and integrating the latest features and advancements in hospitality, retail and mobile payments that drive value," SoftPoint Co-founder Christian Rivadalla said in the release. "Through our partnership with NetCents, we are excited to offer cryptocurrency payments to everyday merchants, allowing us to continue to offer our network the most innovative payment solutions, increasing our market opportunities."

As an enterprise-level merchant mobile payments platform, SoftPoint has produced software and services for the hospitality industry for 30 years and has more than 100 commercial applications within the company's DataPoint, ControlPoint, Point of Sale and Market Places business management solutions.

"Through this partnership and integration, we are one step closer to unifying the traditional payments space with cryptocurrency," NetCents CEO Clayton Moore said in the release. "The partnership will allow us to drive reciprocal revenue through the merchant and partner distribution networks, simplifying consumer cryptocurrency purchasing."
