NCR has launched the NCR Silver family of point-of-sale products in Australia's retail, service and restaurant markets.

NCR Silver, designed for small businesses, is an integrated payment, marketing and management product that can transform a tablet into a complete POS system capable of sales reporting, employee management, inventory management and more, according to a press release.

The new NCR Silver suite of software solutions includes:

• NCR Silver core app —  offers mobile payments, intuitive sales reporting, integrated loyalty and more, and is suitable for small to medium-size businesses; and
• NCR Silver Pro Restaurant Edition app — assists food-service merchants who want to serve customers faster, optimize staffing, manage table locations, provide promotional pricing and more.

NCR Silver operates on iOS and closed Android devices.
