Natwest back online after Black Friday mobile banking disruption
Natwest, the U.K.-based bank, was hit with a Black Friday outage that disrupted its mobile app, online banking and Bankline services.
Customers peppered the bank with complaints as many customers complained that they were unable to check balances, make payments and conduct other transactions.
A spokesman told Mobile Payments Today that all systems are up and running and confirmed that online and mobile banking was disrupted, but ATM operations were not impacted.
Bo, the mobile banking app that launched last week, operated on a separate tech stack and was not affected, according to a spokesperson.
