MyCheck adds menu reordering capability for custom mobile payment apps

MyCheck said the feature leverages its integrations with point-of-sale systems, sending orders directly to POS terminals and prep stations, eliminating the need for tablets or special tableside hardware.

MyCheck, a mobile payment technology platform, today announced what it dubbed an innovative product feature that enables guests to select items from their running tab and reorder straight from their smartphones, according to a press release.

MyCheck said the feature leverages its integrations with point-of-sale systems, sending orders directly to POS terminals and prep stations, eliminating the need for tablets or special tableside hardware. As with all purchases made on the MyCheck platform, reordered items are also factored into loyalty and rewards programs.

“MyCheck's reordering capability is a powerful technological innovation that revolutionizes in-location ordering and the guest experience because unlike tablet solutions, our branded mobile payment apps seamlessly connect to the point-of-sale, link guest consumption to rewards and foster ongoing brand engagement," said Tal Nathanel, U.S. CEO of MyCheck.

MyCheck's menu reordering capability is the latest in a series of recent announcements the company has made recently. Other additions include real-time loyalty rewards, online ordering, splitting or paying checks from a smartphone using Paypal, Android Pay, Apple Pay, traditional credit and debit cards, and gift cards, as well as the option to donate to a variety of charities through a partnership with Round It Up America.
