Mobile commerce company Mobile Embrace has expanded its international direct carrier billing operations into Norway through a new agreement with Telenor Digital, according to a Mobile Embrace press release.

"[Mobile Embrace's] direct carrier billing operations continue to expand rapidly," Chris Thorpe, CEO and co-founder of Mobile Embrace, said in a statement. "We are delighted to be partnering with Telenor across Norway further growing our European footprint. As a proven and trusted operator, Telenor represents a significant market opportunity for Mobile Embrace."

Telenor Digital has some 5.8 million subscribers in Norway.

"With the launch in Norway, MBE is now live in eight countries and is progressing agreements in a further 12 countries," Thorpe said.
