Inside Secure touts card network-certified HCE product

Inside Secure has announced that it is the first host card emulation software platform provider to obtain both functional and security accreditation from MasterCard and Visa, according to a press release.

Inside Secure said that its URPay platform (previously known as MatrixHCE) drastically cuts time to market for issuer banks that want to deploy their self-branded mobile payment solutions. It also offers issuer banks flexibility of choice on how best to serve their customers in mobile financial transactions, whether by building payment capability into their existing mobile applications or by including payment functionality within a stand-alone mobile wallet.

"Consumers want the convenience of doing business and banking on their mobile devices, but they're still concerned if these transactions are trusted and secure," Andrew McLennan, president of the content and application protection business at Inside Secure, said in a statement. "Inside Secure leads the way in securing these mobile transactions. We provide issuer banks with an easy-to-deploy and secure software platform that is trusted and certified by world leaders such as Visa and MasterCard."
