India's FSS partners with AFS to bring omnichannel payments to Middle East markets

India's Financial Software and Systems announced a partnership with Arab Financial Services to bring omnichannel payment solutions to the Middle East and Gulf regions.

FSS, a Chennai, India-based payment processor and AFS, a fintech enabler in the Middle East and Africa, said the new partnership is designed to help acquiring banks grow their merchant acceptance business. The companies said they have launched services in Oman and Bahrain and will expand into other markets.

"Leading acquirers like AFS are broadening their partnership with FSS to benefit from cutting edge, omnichannel capabilities embedded in our acquiring stack," Ram Chari, chief operating officer of FSS, said in a company release. "We have an established track record of delivering innovative commerce solutions and are excited to partner with AFS to support their ambitious growth plans."

Four financial institutions have joined the AFS platform in the past nine months.
