Zaakpay is an Indian online payment gateway. Think of it as the Indian Braintree (or Stripe, if you prefer). It provides an easy-to-add payment solution for developers. And this week it launched a product called Mpay, aimed specifically at mobile developers, according to the Times of India.

With Mpay, mobile developers can quickly integrate payments into their applications, allowing them to accept credit and debit cards through mobile devices. The Mpay suite offers tools for iOS, Android and mobile web integration.

Like the other payment gateways catering to developers, zaakpay provides support to make payment acceptance simple. Adding payments, and thus actually making money, is often the last consideration for developers when creating an app. With companies like zaakpay, developers don't need a specialized knowledge of payments to set up an account and begin processing payments.  

Zaakpay is based in New Delhi and Bangalore and is backed by funding from Sequoia Capital.
