Impulsify Inc. and Shift4 Payments are teaming up to integrate Impulsify's self-pay retail technology with Shift4's contactless payments.

The partnership aims to expand contactless grab-and-go retail across hospitality, retail and other industries, according to a press release.

Customers will be able to take advantage of free contactless credit card terminals — each a $400 value — as well as a $1,000 credit toward processing fees when they sign up.

The news comes as COVID-19 is driving consumer adoption of full contactless transactions and interactions as well as meeting increasing consumer demand for a more convenient shopping experience.

"Shift4 is excited to partner with Impulsify to implement our powerful end-to-end payments solution, including contactless technology, in retail spaces across the nation. We remain committed to providing businesses of all kinds with the most safe and secure means of accepting payments," Jared Isaacman, Shift4 Payments CEO, said in the release.
