Hyosung extends retail ATM warranties due to COVID-19

With ATM operators struggling to keep business on track when many of their retail clients have shut down due to COVID-19, Hyosung has stepped up to help. It's extending its retail ATM warranties for all Halo II, 2700, Force, and 5200SE, models set to expire between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2020. The extension adds 12 additional months of coverage to those warranties. If the warranty has already expired in 2020, Hyosung America will retroactively credit the account, according to a company press release.

ATM's are designated an “essential” business in the banking and financial industry, enabling Hyosung America to continue shipping and servicing its ATM machines on a regular basis.

To protect its staff as well as its customers, Hyosung's non-essential employees are currently working from home, and a dedicated team of warehouse employees are practicing social distancing and CDC hygiene recommendations while working to fulfill orders, according to the release.
