Hook and Reel, a Cajun seafood table service restaurant chain, is deploying Revel Systems' Revel Enterprise, a cloud-based point-of-sale and business management platform, according to a press release.

The POS technology will be deployed in the chain's 50 restaurants by the end of 2020 by HonorBuilt, a restaurant POS deployment service.

Revel Enterprise includes the setup of groups of locations, central control of menus, generation of brand-level reports in real-time, and analysis and management of ingredient inventory, mobile order taking as well as other critical operational tasks.

"Revel's ability to deliver flexible, scalable, and innovative solutions for table service restaurants, including integrated mobile order takers, was the key differentiator," Eason Li, director of operations at Hook and Reel, said in the release. "Mobile order takers enable us to deliver a superior customer experience during the ordering process and help reduce order wait times. Since the Revel platform is cloud-based, we can also easily make updates across locations with the push of a button."

Hook and Reel will leverage Revel's open API to integrate solutions for a loyalty program, online ordering, and inventory management.
