Honda plans to make Alipay part of the connected car in China
Alipay will soon be a part of Honda's connected car experience in China as the auto manufacturer plans to develop a service that would enable drivers to make payments on the go from a vehicle, according to a report from the Nikkei Asian Review.
Honda's Alipay integration will be the result of a partnership with AutoNavi, which is essentially the China version of OnStar in the U.S.
Honda and AutoNavi also plan to let drivers pay for parking and gas as part of the connected car experience, according to the report.
