Google Wallet adds P2P payments to web browsers
Google Wallet users now can send and receive funds transfers through a web browser app, according to a blog post from the company.
"The new Google Wallet web app is here," Google wrote in the blog post. "[The app is] a fast and free way to pay friends and family, even if they don't have the Wallet app. Now, receive money instantly with only a debit card."
Google rebranded Google Wallet as a P2P mobile app last year to make way for Android Pay.
