Google unveils 'Save-to-Wallet'
Internet search giant Google has unveiled a new "Save-To-Wallet" API for the Google Wallet at its I/O conference in San Francisco, according to NFCworld.com.
The new API will let users save website offers directly into Google Wallet on their phones and then redeem the offers at checkout via NFC, mobile barcodes or by showing the offer code at the point of sale.
"The Save-To-Wallet API is part of the vision for Google Wallet to be the one-stop-shop for holding everything you'd carry in a regular wallet," Google said in the story.
The Save-To-Wallet API is set to be tested on a limited basis.
