Mobile operator Telia Norway (part of Telia Group) and mobile technology company Fortumo have launched direct carrier billing for Google Play.

More than 2 million Telia Norway subscribers can now pay for content from the app store by charging purchases to their phone bill, according to a press release.

Norway is the third market where Fortumo is working with Telia Group on Google Play. The two companies are already working together on Google Play in Estonia and Latvia.

In recent news from the region, Fortumo also announced a payments partnership with the leading mobile parking provider EasyPark.
