Financial services trailblazers honored at Bank Customer Experience Summit
In conjunction with this week's Bank Customer Experience Summit, Networld Media Group recognized innovators in ATM and mobile technology during an awards ceremony Sept. 20 at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Award winners for 2016 included:
- Umpqua Bank — Best Branch Experience
Judges commented that " … Umpqua's most compelling attribute is its benchmarking against hospitality, not competitive retail banks," and "The less bank-like an FI can seem, the better."
- Garanti Bank (Turkey) — Best ATM Experience
One judge noted that "Garanti offers a multifunction ATM service, giving customers the convenience of taking care of a variety of financial service needs in a single stop."
- FNB BankCity (South Africa) — Best Mobile Experience (bank)
"An impressive mobile capability built from dedicated effort over many years," one judge observed. Another said that "The FNB mobile experience incorporates offers a large and varied array of features that go well beyond the usual banking app fare."
- Clover Mobile — Best Mobile Experience (fintech)
Judges commented on Clover's "impressive list of benefits," and said that "in many ways [Clover] has become somewhat of a standard when it comes to what a complete mPOS system should offer."
