Domino's makes using Alexa to order pizzas even easier

Domino's Pizza is expanding the Amazon Alexa ordering platform added last year to include customized ordering without customers needing to have a saved account or previous order history, a news release said.

"Now it's as simple as asking Alexa to order a pizza from Domino's and from there, customizing it to one of our millions of possible combinations — no Pizza Profile needed," Domino's Chief Digital Officer Dennis Maloney said in the release.

Anyone can place an order for Domino's with Alexa by saying, "Alexa, open Domino's." Then, the customer is guided through the ordering process from building a pizza to placing an order. Customers who ask for a deal can receive 20 percent off every menu-priced item in their order.

The chain has released details and guides on using the feature on all AnyWare ordering platforms, including Twitter, text, smart TV, Facebook Messenger and anyware.dominos.com.
