According to NFC World, Deutsche Telekom is working with corporate payment provider AirPlus International to pilot an NFC mobile payment program aimed at business travelers. DT's employees in Germany can use the T-Mobile MyWallet app on their mobile devicves to pay by tapping at contactless terminals.

Airplus specializes in corporate payment tools such as purchase cards, expense management and virtual payments.

NFC World said AirPlus is running the pilot to "align the mobile payment solution closely with the specific requirements of business travelers and organizations."

T-Mobile is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom and the brand DT uses for wireless services worldwide. Its MyWallet app is the mobile wallet tool the wireless carrier introduced recently in Poland.
