Cyber Kiosk Solutions' software, mobile app pilots in medical marijuana dispensary
A medical marijuana dispensary in Colorado is about to get a dose of kiosk software to bolster its ID verification and fraud prevention. According to a news release from Cyber Kiosk Solutions, a Denver dispensary will beta test the CYBK's software platform and integrate the company's mobile app into its inventory controls.
The mobile app will also provide the dispensary with product advertising capabilities and mobile payment acceptance when that option becomes legal.
At the dispensary's request, CYBK will not release the name of the dispensary until final testing is complete, the release said. Once the beta test is completed, the dispensary has agreed to help present the secure solution to the State of Colorado for approval.
"In our beta test, we expect to have 10 dispensaries across multiple states testing our software and smartphone mobile app to be able to present to the states a fair sample of data to show the responsible inventory control and sale of marijuana products," CYBK CEO Chris Clarke said in the release. "It is our goal and intent to establish our software solutions to be the required software and mobile app to be used in the marijuana industry."
