Credit card debt reached record $870B by end of 2018

Credit card debt in the U.S. reached a record $870 billion by the end of 2018, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The report, based on Federal Reserve data, showed that credit card debt rose $26 billion from the third quarter, and marks the first time that credit card debt has reached the peak levels seen in 2008.
