Consumers eager to use electronic pay options
A new study reveals more than a third of Americans and Europeans are happy to trade cash for electronic payment options and 20 percent have already made the switch.
The insight, from a eZonomics survey conducted by Ipsos, also notes that where cash is most used the higher number of consumers are eager to make the switch, according to a New York Post report.
The survey polled across the U.S., Australia and 13 European countries. In the U.S. 38 percent of those polled are willing to switch and in Europe 34 percent are willing to go cash-free.
