Coinstar/Coinme cryptocurrency kiosks surpass 5,000 locations
Coinstar LLC and Coinme, a cryptocurrency exchange company, reported that its nationwide network of digital currency point-of-sale kiosks has surpassed 5,000 locations, according to a press release. This expansion introduces Coinme/Coinstar bitcoin-enabled kiosks in 10 new states: Georgia, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware and Rhode Island.
The network has now expanded to a total of 40 states.
"Even amid global economic crises, bitcoin hit an all-time high toward the end of 2020; it's growing increasingly clear that it is indeed winning the monetary revolution," Neil Bergquist, Coinme CEO, said in the release.
