China UnionPay has announced an agreement with Chinese commercial property developer Wanda Group to expand its contactless QuickPass system to Wanda partner merchants, according to local media reports.

China UnionPay said it will work with Wanda to develop a cardholder service system and payment applications. 

Wanda Group said the new payment applications would offer consumers new experiences, including notifications containing promotional information, according to the reports.
