Chase goes live with clearXchange mobile P2P payments

Chase customers can now send and receive money with customers of Bank of America and U.S. Bank by using Chase QuickPaySM. Customers typically can withdraw the funds immediately at an ATM or use them to pay bills right away, according to a Chase press release.

The move is part of Chase's participation in the clearXchange network from Early Warning, which currently reaches up to 65 percent of the digital banking population in the U.S. The network is owned by Bank of America, Captial One, Chase, US Bank and Wells Fargo.

"Consumers expect immediate action in our real-time world. That's why we're making this faster service available for our customers," said Barry Sommers, CEO of consumer banking at Chase.
