Chase finds room in the Isis mobile wallet
Chase cardholders will be soon be able to make mobile payments through the Isis mobile wallet. In a Monday statement, Chase said that later this year, Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire, Chase Slate and JP Morgan Palladium cardholders will be able to load their cards into the Isis Mobile wallet and tap to pay at thousands of retail locations.
Isis, which recently announced plans to roll out its digital wallet sometime this year, said that Chase was involved with its successful pilot programs in Austin, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah, which led to the latest announcement.
"Chase is committed to providing cardholders with a first-rate mobile payments experience," Richard Quigley, president, Chase Card Services, said in the release. "Based on the positive results in Austin and Salt Lake, we are pleased to expand our relationship with Isis and provide Chase cardholders nationwide with another quick, convenient and secure way to use their credit cards for everyday spending while on-the-go."
