BitPay, the bitcoin payment processor, is organizing The World of Bitcoin at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, which takes place January 6-9 in Las Vegas.

The World of Bitcoin will feature a 2,000-square-foot island located at the Las Vegas Convention Center's South Hall, and comprise at least 10 virtual currency-related companies, including: BitPay, Bitman, Bitstamp, Blockchain, Circle, CoPay, Kraken, Private Internet Access, Robocoin and yBitcoin.

“Bitcoin is rapidly redefining financial and commercial paradigms,” says Emily Vaughn, Marketing Manager at BitPay. “The showcase represents some of the top talent in bitcoin technology and will provide a unique experience for the 170,000 CES attendees.”

Attendees stopping by The World of Bitcoin, reports BitPay, will be able to download their first bitcoin wallet, purchase bitcoin, demo mining hardware, get a bitcoin exchange account, learn about online security, and more. The companies collectively represent more than $100 million in venture-capital funding, says the company.

The World of Bitcoin will be located at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall, Booth 36223.
