Centili subscription-based direct carrier billing live in Indonesia

Centili recently announced partnerships with three Indonesian telecom companies to enable direct carrier billing for subscription-based services, according to a press release.

Centili said in the announcement that Indonesia has one of the fastest growing digital populations in Asia with more than 212 million unique mobile subscribers and mobile phone penetration at 126 percent, 47 percent of which is smartphones. This presents a good opportunity for mobile operators to offer direct carrier billing as nearly two-thirds of the population is unbanked, the company said. 

Centili said its technology for recurring payments improves the user experience and adds advanced features such as downscale and split billing that optimize revenue and lifts user lifetime value, according to the announcement.
