California Pizza Kitchen gets into mobile rewards
California Pizza Kitchen has launched its CPK Pizza Dough Rewards mobile app which enables diners to both pay and be paid by phone, according to a news release.
The new phoned-based loyalty tool offers guests the ability to pay and order by phone, then track their food as it's prepared. The app also lets customer receive a little "pay" as well for their loyalty in form of earned, redeemable rewards culled and calculated through the app's functions.
"Not only can CPK guests use the app to order online, they can also check in at their table to earn and apply loyalty rewards and decide when and how to pay for their meal, including adding tip, easily and conveniently from their phone," California Pizza Kitchen Senior Vice President of Marketing and Beverage Ashley Ceraolo said in a news release.
The pizza brand partnered with Paytronix to develop and launch the app, which gives members a free small plate upon registration and allows diners to earn $5 for every $100 spent.
"This integration between loyalty, tech and marketing also offers us the nimbleness and flexibility to introduce additional functionality that enhances the guest experience in the future," California Pizza Kitchen Chief Information Officer Andy Mai said in the release.
