Brazilian legislators approve mobile payments bill
The Brazilian Senate has approved a bill to regulate mobile payments.
According to Business News Americas, the Senate approved the bill last week after Brazil's Chamber of Deputies approved it on Sept. 9.
The Brazilian government published the bill, which gives the Brazilian Central Bank the authority to regulate mobile payments, in May 2013.
Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff is expected to approve the bill later this month, the newspaper said.
