BofA brings Zelle P2P tech to mobile banking app
Bank of America has become one of the first banks to integrate Zelle person-to-person payments service within its mobile banking app, the FI has announced in a press release.
Zelle was developed by Early Warning, a service owned by member banks, including some major U.S. institutions, and will get its own mobile P2P app later this year.
"As one of the first banks to offer mobile banking a decade ago, we're excited to usher in a new era of high-tech, high-touch banking," Michelle Moore, head of digital banking at BofA, said in the release. "In 2017, you'll see a strong focus on payments and intelligent solutions that will deliver personalized experiences clients never imagined were possible."
