Apple is finally making it possible for iPhone users in Russia to buy digital goods without a credit card through a partnership with Beeline that gives consumers the abiltiy charge purchases on their mobile phone bill, according to multiple media reports.

Beeline is the domestic unit of Amsterdam-based carrier VimpelCom.

San Francisco-based direct carrier billing company Boku is working with Apple and Beeline in Russia to provide the necessary backend support for purchases. Boku is also helping Apple in Germany with a similar agreement with Telefonica's O2.
