Amazon is testing a new biometric payment technology that would allow customers to have their identity confirmed by scanning their hands, according to the New York Post.
Amazon employees at the company's New York offices are testing the technology for vending machine purchases, the report stated. The company hopes to roll out the scanning technology at Whole Foods grocery stores over the next few months, according to the report.
