Software developers will soon have the opportunity to add Amazon Pay to the voice apps that are available from the Alexa Skills Store, according to an announcement Amazon made at a conference in Las Vegas this past week.

Skills categories that are currently eligible to add Amazon Pay include donations, event ticketing and restaurants.

A number of trivia-based Alexa Skills plan to add Amazon Pay support for subscriptions, including History's Ultimate History Quiz, Heads Up, Match Game, Sports Jeopardy! and Teen Jeopardy!
