Alipays finds way into Apple's retail stores in China
Apple will now accept Alipay in its stores in China, a move that many industry analysts believe the company needed to make considering the use of Apple Pay there continues to struggle.
Reuters reported that Apple will accept Alipay at all 41 locations in China. Apple has already been accepting Alipay online for iTunes store and App Store purchases, according to the report.
The move gives Alipay the distinction of being the first third-party mobile payment platform to be accepted at Apple's stores.
