Agilysys Inc., a provider of hospitality software solutions and services, has released rGuest OnDemand, a mobile solution that lets guests place food and beverage orders directly from their personal mobile device.

RGuest OnDemand provides a guest-facing self-service ordering experience from beginning to end, according to a press release. The solution supports different types of outlets and a variety of ordering concepts including nonfood items.

With rGuest OnDemand, guests can place orders using their own mobile device, phone or tablet. The new solution makes the ordering process easier, frees up staff to spend more time with guests and dramatically increases revenue opportunities without additional staffing, the release said.
