Accumuilate, YellowPepper form mobile payment partnership for Latin America
YellowPepper has signed with Stockholm-based mobile payment provider Accumulate as a developing partner for the Latin America region. Based in Miami, Fla., YellowPepper is a mobile financial network for Latin America. The company's platform lets financial institutions, mobile network operators and merchants conduct mobile financial transactions. It currently operates in nine countries in Latin American including Colombia, Peru and Guatemala.
"YellowPepper is already the leading provider of mobile financial solutions in Latin America," said YellowPepper CEO and Co-Founder, Serge Elkiner. "We are constantly focused on delivering the best-in-class mobile financial services to our continuously growing client base."
Elkiner said that his company's partnership with Accumulate further strengthens the company's position and that YellowPepper has already seen the added value from FIs that have acquired YellowPepper's Smart-Banking 3.0 solutions.
Smart-Banking 3.0 is based on Accumulate's Mobile Everywhere platform and operates on all major mobile technology platforms including Android, iPhone, Java, Blackberry and Windows.
Some of the Smart Banking 3.0 solution features include:
- Smart-Payment – a mobile payment function that eliminates the sharing of sensitive information between a payer and a payee and supports transactions via POS, mobile POS, e-commerce, m-Commerce and vending machine
- Smart-Banking – a mobile banking solution
- Smart-Security – a solution that enables the mobile phone to be the authentication and signature device for web login, digital signature and even cardless ATM withdrawals.
"The agreement with YellowPepper is exciting news," said Stevan Hultberg, Accumulate CEO and co-founder. "Together we can provide innovative mobile financial solutions to a broad client base that combines market-leading security with ease of use and flexibility. This agreement is just the initial step of this strategic partnership, where we see tremendous potential."
