Christopher Schafer Clothier is a custom clothier offering high-quality garments with a European flair.  After learning his craft in London, England, Schafer perfected his skills by opening his own business in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. He earned the title of Baltimore's Best Tailor two years in a row by City Paper and Baltimore Magazine.

After working for a global manufacturer of custom clothing in England, Schafer moved back to Baltimore with his family and started his own label. As a sole proprietor, it was key that he meet his clientele face to face. He would visit potential clients in their homes, offices or conference rooms — anywhere that was convenient for them — to show them swatches of fabric and take measurements. He had to be accessible at all times in order to keep his business running smoothly.
