Two types of billing is possible with P-SMS Short-Codes:
- SMS MT Billing
- SMS MO Billing
SMS MT Billing
With SMS MT billing the customer is charged on receiving the SMS message from the Short-Code.
SMS MO Billing
With Premium SMS MO billing the customer is charged on receiving the SMS message to the Short-Code.
Premium SMS Short-Codes are available across the following options:
- Dedicated Short- Code
- Shared Short-Code
Dedicated Short-Codes
Own your own 4-5 digit number. All message sent to this Short Code are routed and applied to your services.
Shared Short-Codes
Own one or more SMS keywords on the Short Code. These keywords identify the service provider on the number so we can allocate the billing messages.
