Payments Operator for MasterCard Mobile
In October 2011, MasterCard Mobile Service launched with Cellum as payment system operator. Cellum technology enables smartphones to function as bank cards. More than 35,000 users downloaded the app in the first ten months, resulting in a 35% average monthly growth rate in 2012.  MasterCard Mobile has become the second most popular financial application in Hungary (according to Google Play).

PortfoLion, the investment arm of OTP Group, the largest banking group of the CEE region, provided funding for growth. Cellum Bulgaria launched in a January 2012.  By the end of 2013, Cellum will be operating in 10 countries in close partnership with MasterCard.
