Ztar Mobile sign reseller pact with CorFire for mobile payment services

CorFire, a mobile commerce technology provider, and Ztar Mobile, a provider of private branded wireless services and solutions that enable retailers to deliver private branded wireless services to their customers, Wednesday announced a reseller agreement so Ztar Mobile can resell the CorFire enterprise-grade mCommerce platform to its customers, according to a press release.

CorFire's technology will enable Ztar to securely distribute and manage payment credentials and applications in NFC-enabled smart devices while offering their customers NFC and non-NFC barcode-based mobile payment features including value-added offers, mobile gifting, closed-loop payments and virtual loyalty cards, according to the announcement. With these increased services, CoreFire said, merchants will be able to distribute retail offers and coupons, and facilitate gifting or stored value accounts directly to smart devices. It will also enable features that anticipate consumer usage of mCommerce services.

"This agreement allows Ztar Mobile to provide our retail clients with yet another vehicle to monetize their distribution by taking advantage of the exponential growth in mobile payments," Kevin Haddad, CEO of Ztar Mobile, said in a statement. "CorFire's proven mCommerce platform gives Ztar Mobile a scalable mCommerce solution to present the right offers at the right time — even creating location-specific experiences — while building our clients' brand, loyalty and revenue. Its intuitive, configurable admin portal puts the power of mobile engagement in the hands of an organization's marketing professionals. It provides direct connection with their guests and provides ability to target guests behavior by launching and/or extending marketing programs to mobile devices."
