The company said it plans to enable all Turkish banks with HCE capabilities by the end of 2015.
BKM, which is a Turkey-based payments service provider, recently announced it has introduced host card emulation services for banks in that country.
The company said in a press release that it plans to enable all Turkish banks with HCE capabilities by the end of 2015. BKM currently is testing the technology with financial institutions.
"This common project of BKM with the banks will allow Turkish cardholders to benefit from contactless transactions with their own smart mobile devices, thanks to HCE technology," Dr. Soner Canko, the company's CEO, said in a press release.
BKM claims that 84 percent of all smart devices in Turkey are Android based.
