Three more Kenyan banks link to M-Pesa

Transfast announced partnerships with three leading Kenyan banks for instant deposits, and the launch of the M-Pesa service

Transfast, the global money transfer company, today announced partnerships with three leading Kenyan banks for instant deposits and the launch of the M-Pesa service, according to a press release.

Instant deposits are available at three major banks: African Banking Corp., Chase Bank Kenya and Dubai Bank Kenya Ltd, according to the announcement.

Transfast's new M-Pesa integration means that customers are now able to send funds directly to the mobile phones of friends and family in Kenya.

"Our breakthrough technology is enabling our customers to send money to all banks in Kenya from a mobile device, online or in-person at an agent location," said Roshan Polepalli, vice president of Transfast.com.

Users' funds can be deposited directly into recipients' bank accounts or M-Pesa wallet, or the recipient can pick up cash at any of more than 1,250 locations across Kenya.
