Taiwan's E.Sun Bank is now offering its customers a mobile banking app that includes a payments feature thanks to a partnership with Visa, according to a press release. 

Visa said that the bank is the first in Taiwan to add payments via host card emulation. 

Users must have an Android OS smartphone that runs on KitKat or a later operating system. 

Visa said there are 60,000 contactless payment terminals in Taiwan.
