QikServe, a mobile order and payment company, announced it has signed a distribution agreement with POStech, a provider of point-of-sale systems for the hospitality sector in Ireland, according to a press release.

The distribution agreement will see POStech provide QikServe's patented 'Waiter in Your Pocket' technology to its hospitality clients across Ireland. QikServe lets guests order and pay for hospitality services direct from their smartphones. The app's major feature is that it automatically captures customer data, which can then be used by the operator to power highly targeted marketing campaigns, according to the announcement.   

"As a Gold Partner for Oracle Hospitality in Ireland, we were immediately interested in joining forces with fellow Gold Partner QikServe, who offer a solution that can help fulfill a growing demand in the sector," said Peter Martin, sales manager of POStech Ireland. "Many hospitality operators across Ireland are very interested in adopting mobile ordering and payment and they can now access a fast, cost-effective option for doing this."
