Powa Technologies partners with mobile software provider

Powa Technologies today announced the integration of the company's PowaPOS T-Series, the first all-in-one, tablet-based POS platform with e-Nabler's award-winning eMobilePOS software, according to a press release. E-Nabler, a leading North American point of sale independent software vendor, will promote the product to its extensive reseller network. Attendees of RetailNOW 2014 can demo the integrated product at the eMobilePOS booth (#420) during the Orlando trade show this week.

"The rapid migration to tablet POS has disrupted the payments industry and created a challenge for those looking for a fast and scalable solution to support their go-to-market strategies," Jeff Dumbrell, CEO of PowaPOS, said in a press release. "The powerful partnership of Powa's first-of-its-kind integrated hardware, combined with the market-leading eMobilePOS solution delivers a unified, secure payments system that meets merchants' needs today, and is advanced enough to continue to meet their needs tomorrow."

Earlier this year, Powa Technologies unveiled the PowaPOS T-Series, a platform that integrates industry-leading components into one space-saving POS stand, according to the annoucement. PowaPOS combines EMV readiness, printer, barcode scanner, tablet mount and USB expansion ports into one device. Additionally, PowaPOS features PowaPIN, which the company calls the world's smallest EMV chip-and-pin acceptance device.

The new PowaPOS Developer Program features the PowaPOS SDK and online developer portal that, together, help with app integration with PowaPOS point-of-sale hardware and services, including PowaTag, Powa Technolgies' mobile commerce solution.

"PowaPOS is the perfect hardware complement to the eMobilePOS software," Joel Vázquez, CEO and CSA of e-Nabler. "Now, our customers not only have freedom of choice with a flexible, easily configurable app that runs on both iOS and Android devices, they also have freedom from multiple POS configurations, with a simple turnkey tablet solution that can incorporate all POS peripherals and applications."

RetailNOW 2014 attendees can also get a first-hand look at the new, partnered solution at eMobilePOS' "Passport for Profits" special event. The free event, today from 3:30-5:00 PM, will showcase the PowaPOS platform.
