Mphasis partnerships aim to 'Spark' FIs' digital transformation

Mphasis, a provider of IT services and solutions, has launched its "digital acceleration program," called Sparks.

According to a press release from Mphasis, Sparks develops partnerships with industry disruptors in the global banking and insurance sectors in order to help customer organizations achieve mobile digital transformation without the upfront investment in future-proof technologies or research labs.

Sparks introduces two vital elements of digital — customer experience and data information and intelligence.

Sparks partners include Ushur (servicebots); Loyakk (mobile engagement); and Artificial Solutions Inc (natural language interaction). With their assistance, Mphasis customers can improve application performance, deliver meaningful customer experiences and drive business outcomes — all while growing the partners' own business reach, the release said.

"Emphasis Sparks ... offers unique opportunities to companies like us to deliver disruptive solutions to the banking and insurance industries," said Simha Sadasiva, CEO of Ushur, a provider of micro-engagement, self-service platforms on mobile phones. "We believe business analysts in enterprises can utilize our service bots to drive down significant costs in new and existing customer engagements."

"We provide Unifier-X, a next-generation mobile engagement platform that enables enterprises to deliver high-touch, personalized experiences to high-value customers," said Loyakk CEO Salim Ali. "The credibility of Mphasis driving innovation via its Spark 1.0 program creates incremental revenue growth, access to larger customers and formalizes our joint efforts in support of customer loyalty in critical markets."

"[Customers] now expect to be able to speak to automated channels in a humanlike, natural way and get accurate, meaningful replies 24/7," said Artificial Solutions CEO Lawrence Flynn. "Our natural language platform delivers an artificially intelligent, conversational component that complements the other technologies that Mphasis is integrating into a compelling customer experience proposition for the banking and insurance sector. "

Mphasis customers around the world include six top global banks, 11 of the 15 top mortgage lenders, and the top three global insurance companies, the release said. The company has roughly 24,000 employees across 16 countries.
