MobileBits rolls out program to provide mobile marketing strategies for small businesses

MobileBits, provider of the SAMY mobile marketing and engagement network, has launched GETSTARTED, a program meant to help businesses create their own mobile marketing strategy for free. According to a news release, using the program's online tools to build their own branded SAMY mobile storefront, merchants only need to follow three steps:

  • Upload their information, including the brand logo, store location and contact information;
  • Create an offer, coupon or promotion; and
  • Upload and integrate their social media sites, instantly connecting Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or Yelp to their custom mobile storefront.

"We believe every local business should be able to capitalize on the mobile marketing opportunity and to connect with any customer who is open to receiving discounts or promotional offers on their smartphone," MobileBits president and CEO Walter Kostiuk said in the release. "Businesses are faced with the challenge of how to capitalize on mobile marketing today. We are offering every merchant a simple, three-step process to create their very own mobile app storefront instantly and connect with local customers for free."

SAMY is a direct mobile marketing and engagement network that enables merchants and shopping centers to extend their brand to popular smartphones and engage with new and existing customers. SAMY also provides merchants a way to quickly integrate important retail touchpoints, including point of sale, gift cards, mobile offers, loyalty systems, social media and more into a single customizable mobile platform, according to the release.

SAMY is available for Android, iOS, Amazon Kindle or BlackBerry 10 smartphones and tablets.
