Popular video game Minecraft has revealed a new server that lets children learn how to use and spend bitcoin on in-game items.
Popular video game Minecraft has revealed a new server that lets children use bitcoin, according to a report by The Business Insider.
Players can earn in-game currency called bits which are actually satoshis, the smallest bitcoin value possible. They can then use these bits to purchase items in game. Children can earn these bits through various mini-games such as team death matches.
This feature is currently available on the Minecraft server, PlayMC. PlayMC offers information on bitcoin on its website.
