MiFinity intros e-wallet for gaming operators, players

Wallet-holders can load funds or disburse withdrawals using any Visa, MasterCard or China UnionPay credit, debit, prepaid, or virtual card accounts using MiFinity's existing PayAnyCard and PayMyCard products.

MiFinity Payments, formerly known as NXSystems, today announced it has launched a digital wallet product for the gaming industry. The company said in a press release that its MiFinity e-Wallet product helps companies transfer funds anywhere worldwide to lessen the potential for fraud and money laundering.

Wallet-holders can load funds or disburse withdrawals using any Visa, MasterCard or China UnionPay credit, debit, prepaid, or virtual card account using MiFinity's existing PayAnyCard and PayMyCard products. Users also can settle to bank accounts worldwide with lower local rates using the global bank settlements product offering and MiFinity's network of banking relationships, and protect their transactions with the company's secure tokenization solution.

The e-wallet product also includes many authentication and fraud monitoring controls, including KYC and real-time monitoring, as well as comprehensive reporting capabilities at both the detailed transaction level, according to a press release.

"Although all gaming sites generally have a means of moving money throughout their site, often the experience is clunky and inefficient for the user, and causes high fees for the provider due to the need to use multiple payment vendors," said Gay Hamilton, COO at MiFinity Payments. "MiFinity is the only company to offer a wallet solution specifically for the gaming industry. With MiFinity's e-wallet, there is only one source of service, enabling gaming operators to offer a seamless and flexible experience to their end users, while streamlining their own costs and processes."

The company plans to debut the product at the ICE Totally Gaming Conference in London, Feb. 2–4.
