Jamba Juice launches mobile 'order ahead' app

Jamba Juice has improved convenience for consumers who can't wait for their next juice or smoothie.

Jamba Juice last week announce consumers will now be able to skip the line at more than 200 stores. The smoothie and freshly-squeezed juice retailer has rolled out the first phase of its new mobile order ahead app. The new smartphone tool is available on the Jamba Juice app, according to a press release.

The app is intended to reduce wait times for guests and continues the brand's commitment to enhance the in-store experience and improve its implementation of technology as consumers increasingly turn to mobile for retail transactions. It also incorporates an updated brand look and feel and an improved digital customer experience.

"The new order ahead app allows us to compete effectively for the on-the-go consumer in the QSR space which is experiencing a shift to mobile ordering as consumers are engaging with brands on different platforms at different stages of the path to purchase,” Jamba Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer Julie S. Washington said. "Mobile has become a part of doing business that guests expect from Jamba, and the mobile app will provide additional data about app users and their purchase behavior which will enable us to provide more targeted messaging and drive increased revenue."

The first phase of the mobile order ahead app rollout was activited in California, New York, Chicago and Hawaii throughout the month of August.
